September has arrived, and it seems like it came in a hurry. As we look forward to all the fun things that arrive with the Fall season, come check out the Senior Center!

This week we are closed on Monday and Tuesday but will return to our regular schedule on Wednesday. It’s a great place to be!

Leeds Senior News 12/19/2024

The Leeds Senior Center has had an extraordinary year, and a wonderful holiday season – from Thanksgiving thru December 19. We heard the 1st graders sing their Christmas program, we marched in the Christmas parade, we ate great food, and even had a visit from Santa!!

We are exhausted! So, we are on holiday until Monday, January 6 when we will return in full swing.

Senior News June 14, 2024

Thank you (!) to Joe Becker and Margaret Little for welcoming us and showing us the Bass House. If you have not put this Leeds historic stop on your “to do” list, this summer is the perfect opportunity. So much of Leeds history is on display throughout the home. Also, it’s amazing that the original Bass family raised NINE children in this house.

This week the Senior Center schedule has lots of changes. Specifically, we will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday is a holiday, and on Thursday we are traveling to Tuscumbia. The home of Helen Keller (Ivy Green) and the Rattlesnake Saloon await us.

The Senior Center is closed Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day and will remain closed for the week.
