In 2008, Leeds Fire Prevention began a class for the seniors called Remembering When”. This class is
designed to interact with the audience and provide fire and fall prevention education to the senior
citizens. While in the class people learn of the different items they can purchase from a store to make
the home a safer place as well as some tips to keep healthy. The course usually last about one to two
hours and is interactive with trivia questions and visual props.
The class is a great refresher for what to
and not to do around the house.
